A crisis management specialist with experience in the UK, Africa and the Middle East, Helen is in demand for her skills in implementing response and recovery strategies.

With 15 years' experience in the field, Helen has considerable knowledge in a broad spectrum of disciplines within the field of crisis management. Helen also has a great understanding of complex humanitarian emergencies.

Joining the EPC with a proven experience of implementing response and recovery arrangements for hazard and threat-based events in the UK, West Africa and the Middle East, Helen’s skills in this field are widely sought after.

Her expertise includes emergency response and recovery, evacuation and shelter, health and social care, casualties, fatalities and humanitarian assistance.

In the domestic arena, Helen has worked with organisations to research, monitor and implement legislation, ensuring that contingency planning arrangements are in place for events ranging from environmental to infectious diseases, and from mass fatalities to incidents within the high hazard industry.

Internationally, Helen has managed complex humanitarian emergencies in the Middle East, working within the field of crisis communications and consequence management. She has also developed emergency plans for natural disasters on behalf of the National African Disaster Management Organisation.
