The BCI Good Practice Guidelines (CBCI)

Overview

This course prepares professionals with the underpinning knowledge to pass the Business Continuity Institute (BCI) exam. Covering all the areas required, including the refreshment of knowledge on business continuity (BC) lifecycle and the development of BC templates and checklists. You’ll gain confidence and the skills required to pass the class.

Our Associate will lead you through discussions, tasks and case studies as they draw on their vast experience from across both public and private sectors.

The course takes an interactive style and involves tutor presentations, group discussions and exercises as well as individual tests supplied by the BCI that help confirm your understanding and prepare you for the exam.

This is a three day residential course, with the option of the online BCI examination.

Aim

The course provides greater depth of knowledge on the 6 lifecycle areas of BC management and prepares the delegate to undertake the BCI exam. Both the course and exam are based on the BCI Good Practice Guidelines 2018.

Objectives

By the end of the course the delegates will have the knowledge and skills to be able to successfully complete the BCI Exam and gain the Certificate in BC Management – CBCI letters can be placed after their name
