The Who Concert Disaster
The entire crowd outside the main entrance surged and pushed toward the two doors which had been opened after hearing the band warming-up. This caused many people to get trampled while some suffered more serious injuries. Eleven people were unable to escape the crowd crush and died by asphyxiation, 26 more were injured.
