A renowned cyber expert, Nick has advised on a number of high-profile space programmes, as well as providing specialist support for government ministers on subjects of national importance.

As Programme Director for Cyber Resilience and EPC Lead for business development, Nick puts his extensive skills and background to good use.

Nick is an engineer who has served in senior government roles for more than 39 years.

He has worked in an array of areas including defence, intelligence, national security and space operations, as well as advising on a wide range of technical subjects of national significance up to ministerial level.

His background covers design, development, operational delivery and business development.

He has represented the UK government at many national and international forums covering highly complex and classified subjects.

Since joining Serco, Nick has worked closely with the defence teams delivering the Fylingdales Solid State Phased Array Radar (SSPAR), Air Defence Radars (ADRs), Skynet 5 and other sensitive space-based projects.

As principal solutions architect, Nick used his engineering and consultancy skills to deliver compelling, complex technical solutions in support of bids and operational delivery.

In 2016, working closely with the UKSA and MoD, Nick led the Serco programme to delivery the Spaceports Range Definition paper in support of the Modern Transport Bill.
