Christmas came early this week for 1st Easingwold Scout Group, with the delivery of 10 laptops.
Part of a recycle scheme by Serco Ltd (who manage the EPC on behalf of the Cabinet Office) whereby refurbished IT equipment is donated to local youth groups, schools and good causes. Scout Leader and EPC Capability Lead, Bev Griffiths, said; “We are thrilled to receive this very generous donation from Serco as part of their corporate social responsibility pledge. Not only will this equipment help with admin, these laptops will support our scouts, cubs and beavers in achieving their IT badges”.
