New Guidance from The EPC

New Guidance from the Emergency Planning College: The UK Good Practice Guide to Working in Safety Advisory Groups

Going back a few (!) years it was the EPC that drove, created and published the valuable WSAG guidance document, after seeing a gap in the existing set of practitioner guidance. Now we are preparing to re-issue it as a Second Edition.

It will be out later this month or early June and it will be another free download from the EPC website.

The editor is still Beverley Griffiths, one of our capability leaders, who brought the First edition to print.  This time she has been working with Vanessa Mawer as the principal technical author. Vanessa is one of our leading trainers and advisors in crowds and event safety and a national subject-matter expert.

Beverley says…”We thought the time was right to update this guidance, since so much has happened in the crowd and event safety world since the last edition.  It’s a little bit longer, but still short by the standards of definitive guidance documents. It is still tightly focused and practical. It contains a lot of small but important changes and some new case studies”.

Keep watching our website for the release.
