Free Webinar from the EPC

When:  16th July 2015 at 1230 pm

Title:   Good practice in identifying and supporting vulnerable adults in emergencies

By:  David Mellor

David is the EPC lead on humanitarian issues and has just carried out primary research in the field, with a survey of practitioners to find out more about the nature and type of the challenges in this area.  The current climate is one of austerity but (and perhaps because of that) it is also one of innovation.  Emergency managers now, more than ever, need to know what their colleagues and peers are doing – we simply don’t have the time any more to re-invent existing good practice locally, when someone out there has the answer.

Sign up and discuss these issues with David and colleagues.  David’s work will also inform a forthcoming paper in the EPC Occasional Papers Series.  He is also preparing our Autumn Seminar on the subject – watch out for details but put a placeholder in your diary for 18-19 November.  As usual, we promise a first-rate seminar at cost-recovery prices.  Like this webinar, it’s part of our Public Programme.
