Course Information

The road to recovery can be complex and challenging, especially when faced with a changing environment that can blur the lines between response and recovery.

Set within the context of the latest government guidance on recovery management, and using our experience of recent emergencies, let us take you step by step through the four pillars of recovery, including the purpose and workings of an effective recovery working group and its supporting sub-groups.

In addition to learning how to ‘build back stronger’, our experts in the field of recovery management will support you to design an effective basic recovery strategy.

Who is This Course For?

Traditionally, responsibility to lead the recovery process in the aftermath of a major incident, has fallen to the Local authority. As recent events have demonstrated, the four principles of recovery apply to a wide range of organisations faced with preparing themselves for a new way of working as a result of COVID-19. Principle organisations who would benefit from this course include emergency responders, local authorities, utility companies, Health and Social care providers and voluntary organisations.
