An insightful session to provide an insight into BC in a Parliamentary setting and the work of the Legislative Assemblies Business Continuity Network, as well as emerging lessons from COVID-19.
With a varied and extensive background, Martin is the former Head of Business Continuity for the EPC. He has held roles as Business Resilience Manager for UK Houses of Parliament and is Lead Auditor for the Business Continuity Institute. He is also an approved trainer and auditor. Martin was a key lead in the collaboration to establish LABCoN as a network and formulating the guidance principles

Tommy has extensive experience as the business continuity manager for Scottish Parliament with skills across business continuity, incident response and all things risk & resilience. As a proactive and engaging lead in authoring the LABCoN guidance and establishing the network, Tommy is passionate about sharing best practice and collaboration to expand resilience
Kelly Blakeley, Resilience Capability Lead, EPC
Having provided support to numerous high-profile emergencies, EPC’s Kelly Blakeley has a respected reputation across local and national government in shaping and delivering business continuity (BC) for the EPC. Her previous involvement includes extensive experience in dealing with disruptions & emergencies across multi-agency Local Resilience Forums as well as at organisational level including flooding, derailment, terrorism, wide scale loss of utilities, pandemics and cyber incidents amongst others.
