About this course

Overview

This essential toolkit is designed to develop your role in successfully embedding business continuity (BC) within any organisation.

Strategic leads and other individuals, often without any background in business continuity management (BCM), inherit the leadership role for their organisation’s business continuity capability. This masterclass has been designed to provide the underpinning knowledge to strategically lead the development and embedding of any BC programme, cultivating a resilient organisation. One that is able to adapt and respond to disruptive events whilst minimising negative impacts.

The BC Masterclass course provides a rare opportunity to engage with experts and peers simultaneously. Covering best practice, strengthening existing knowledge on the management of implementation, including strategy and BC arrangements.

Looking at the six elements of the BC lifecycle, the course explores how these can be applied within any organisation. It also looks at the role and importance of the BC Policy and business continuity management system governance arrangements, as well as business impact analysis.

Delegates will go through the three levels of incident response structure, have the chance to analyse the importance of exercising BC plans and evaluate methods for embedding effective business continuity within an organisation.
