Rob Walley BA (Hons) CMI AMBCI CBCI MEPS,is currently the Accountable manager for Serco EPC on a major nuclear industry project focused upon communications, evacuation, decontamination, casualty and fatality planning and response.
Rob has ten years of experience in the resilience sector with much of his time spent engaged on crisis management, command/control and communications. Rob leads on Resilient Telecommunications courses for the EPC and has run an Exercise series for senior and middle management of a major automotive business and for telecommunications providers in the United Arab Emirates for Serco.
Rob led on venue resilience planning for LOCOG during the Olympic and Paralympic Games and represented LOCOG to national and regional multi-agency control centres during the Olympic Torch Relay and Olympic/Paralymic Games. His varied experience included coaching and supporting senior management to enhance their performance in exercises and events.
Previous to this Rob worked in local government, with the London Resilience Team on recovery, fuel disruption and Olympic planning and the Home Office where, latterly he represented the Category 1 and 2 responder community ‘beyond the blue lights’ on data and voice interoperability projects.
