Paul Kudray MSc, MEPS is widely recognised as one of the UK’s top talents in developing and delivering strategic health resilience capabilities over the last 10 years with a highly successful record of achievement, including 32 years’ experience of emergency management principles, business continuity and incident management.
A civil protection and crisis management subject matter expert who has helped influence and shape the direction of multi-agency, emergency preparedness policy and capabilities across the UK. He has many key strengths including being inspired by the future possibilities through developing the qualities of others. He has an enthusiasm talent to understand how to get the best results in crisis situations and is a proven professional leader in this field.
Paul was awarded a Masters of Science Degree in Disaster Management in 2009 and holds several qualifications relating to resilience, crisis management, business continuity and people development. Paul is a Special Advisor/Inspector for the Care Quality Commission (CQC) in respect of NHS Clinical Care Services and provides subject matter expert advice on the Emergency Preparedness, Resilience and Response (EPRR) elements of the inspections. He is also an External Peer Reviewer for the Health Inspectorate Wales (HIW) covering Dignity and Essential Care Inspections across Wales. He is consistently headhunted by high profile national and international clients for his experience and expertise in healthcare resilience and business continuity management systems.
In addition to being a consultant and associate trainer, Paul is also one of the strategic fellow’s at the Cabinet Office EPC as a result of his extensive experience of blue light services and he is a member of the Emergency Planning Society.
