Academic qualifications

EPC deliver academic qualification through a ground-breaking partnership with the University of Portsmouth. The partnership provides a process which enables EPC delegates to gain accreditation points on courses studied at the EPC. Using the Accredited Prior Learning process, and subject to assessment, it is possible for you to gain up to 50% of the accreditation points required for a Postgraduate Diploma or full MSc programme through modules offered at the EPC.

This opportunity applies to any delegates who have undertaken modules with the EPC - dating back to 2009!

The arrangement with the University of Portsmouth offers substantial advantages to EPC delegates who may wish to study for further qualifications. The programmes are supported by three of the University Faculties which provide the very best knowledge and expertise and a breadth and depth of content which would be very difficult to equal.

Example courses include:

Post Graduate Courses

  • MSc Crisis and Disaster Management
  • MSc Security Management
  • MSc Risk, Crisis and Resilience Management

Undergraduate Course

  • BSc (Hons) Risk and Security Management

The College hosted a  webinar followed by question and answer session to give delegates more information about this great new academic partnership, how it works and how it can help them... If by any chance you have missed it please view the recording under 'Related Videos'.
