Launch of new course; Security Risk Management for Crowded Places

Today we launch a brand new training course, the first of it's kind in the UK. Especially for those who manage crowded places, such as stadia and arenas, this course with help you plan for and manage the impact of intentional acts of criminality (such as terrorism and other crimes).

 

This course will help you prepare, mitigate and plan for safety, security and service in crowded places. It will develop your confidence and give you the peace of mind to know you are doing the right thing.

The course is developed by experienced practitioners and with NaCTSO advice, it will help your understanding and interpretation of national guidance and provide you with valuable advice on how to implement appropriate measures. 

Concentrating on the procedures required in stadia and arenas, to increase protection in order to reduce the likelihood and impact of intentional acts of criminality. The emphasis will be upon acts of terrorism but reference will be made to other forms of criminality.

For those delegates from other crowded places the principles can be utilised, however the focus for this course is stadia and arenas.
